SOUND OF PIANO

Kwesta is a talented youth who breathes the sound of music this is the story where he comes up in the music scene of Amapiano in the streets of Durban.

CHAPTER ONE

"Good morning mama" said Kwesta to his mother. "Are you going to the studio today? asked Khanyisa..." Yeah mama" said Kwesta. " I don't like those kids you hang out with" said his mother. " Mom they are promoters...." said Kwesta. "It seems they follow trouble wherever they go, please be careful i don't want to pick you up from the station Kwesta" she said sadly.

"It won't happen again mama" said Kwesta. " The only person I wanna see you with is Papi" said Khanyisa. Papi was Kwesta's best friend and school mate one of his best mates. They would always make music together on his room. Always hustling putting out music and spudding promoters.

"And make sure you go to school, that was our agreement remember? said Khanyi. " Yeah sure mom" said Kwesta. He hadn't been to school for over a month now, chasing his dreams of becoming a DJ. He was a really talented kid, Papi was his promoter and manager although the two came from a poor background.

Kwesta leaves the house. Suddenly his mother comes out with his microphone of which he forgot. Kwesta gets it and gives her a kiss on the cheek. "Remember your promise" she said assuredly. Kwesta nods approvingly.

Kwesta goes out to and wait for the bus to Durban. There he meets his worst enemy a gang leader known as Val the killer, who was waiting for him...Since he owed him some money, he was now trembling in fear. " Where is my money? " he asked in a thick Zulu accent.

"I made you who you were today Kwesta" he said demandingly. " I know Vatela... i will pay you I promise" said Kwesta. Kwesta had used the money to make his album now rotating in the streets making noise and accreditation.

Kwesta gives him a final warning. Suddenly the bus arrives. He gets in the bus tensed and with butterflies in his stomach.
