Gigi finds herself at the hands of the High Council to answer for her actions after rescuing refugees from a nearby planet....
"Gigi? Your counsel is being requested in the Earth's court of justice" said Bob as he opened her room slightly in the hangar bay next to the Starship. Gigi was reading a philosophy book by one of the most famous philosophers of the century. "Are you reading Fredrich Nietchze? " asked Bob dumbfounded.
"Ah yes Bob!" said Gigi. "Abit morbid. Don't you think?" said Bob smiling wanely. "You can now go bye!" she said non chalantly. "Okay seniorrita" said Bob slowly closing the door. "You might want to check up with Liutenant before you go?" He suggested.
"Sure..." she said in dismay. She approaches commander control as Julius was having a glass of wine. "Gigi, to what do I owe the pleasure" said Julius. " The council of judges have requested an audience" she said sheepishly. "I told you to not involve me in your petty matters!" he said harshly.
"I wasn't asking you too, Liutenant, now may I have the permission to be dismissed" said Gigi. "Fair enough" said Julius.
The court of Justice
"Captain Gigi Munroe, you have been brought to a disciplinary hearing" said the acolyte judge who was half human and half martian. "Yes" said Gigi. "Confirm your name and reason for judgement " said Salvar the half breed.
" Gigi Munroe daughter of Susan Munroe the first female Captain of the entergalactic federation of light. Brought to Justice for harbouring alien refugees" said Gigi. "And how do you plead?"said another judge, another half breed.
" I plead not guilty!" Gigi said loudly. "Heresy!" shouted another judge. "You should be hanged for treason!" said the judge. "I have done no harm, I was simply executing my birth right!" said the Gigi.
"You harbour refugees, without our counsel!" said the judge " And without remorse!" Said another. "Wait! My fellow judges Gigi Munroe is a decorated Captain who saved us from the Last Battle we are to be in reverence of her presence!" said The Black human judge.
"Very well, be that as it may! You broke a direct order from your superior that is already a crime in itself" said Salvar the judge. His mouth open wide and aghast. "We will let you off with a warning!" said Salvar the half breed. "Let this be the last warning we are giving you!" shouted Salvar.
"Thank you my fellow bringers of light" she said as she bowed as part of her customary rituals and left the high council.
