ELYSIUM

Matt is a cop from L.A in the future where man and machine live as one in a Utopia. He was sent to a do a deadly mission to control the human uprising a sect called the DTR( Death to robots) where he finds himself at the heart of the rebellion when the DTR kidnap his family and his only ransom is to join the DTR and help them secretly destroy Elysium, the birth place of Utopia. 

CHAPTER ONE

"Good morning babe!" said Matt to his wife Bella. He had woken up early for his shift, had breakfast and was now preparing to leave to do his mundane job as a riot police officer. There had been protests from the DTR(Death to Robots) sect which were growing by the day. His work was a very high risk job and everyday he would risk his life for his country.

Today was a special day for him as he was being given a promotion. He had saved the senators kid from a group of the DTR militia and was now being promoted to senior corporal. Matt had been to various wars in the East a long time ago and his reputation preceded him. It is only when his wife suggested to retire from the army that he became a cop in order to be close to him and his wife and three kids.

"Got to go honey. Today is the big day!" He said smiling blissfully. "Oh yeah you get your promotion, I forgot" said Bella. She hugged him on the bed with great benevolence. "Are the kids up?" she asked. "Not yet. Let them sleep, it's a bit early" said Matt as he grabbed his gear a semi automatic cyber gun, a laser and his badge.

He then left the house slowly, it had been a few months since he came from Afghanistan. His wife convinced him to stay in LA and retire as a general to spend time with him and their kids. He loved them all so much. He got into his cyber truck and sped to the police station.

L.A police station 

Matt arrives at the police station early. His comrades surprise him with a cake with the initials M.D and a big congratulations decoration. He was surprised and felt nothing but love for him and his colleagues.

"Oh thank you guys so much!" He said happily. "You are now a Lieutenant Mr. Matt DeSanta" said the police officers in a jovial manner in unison. He was extremely taken aback. He was finally a Lieutenant meaning he had his own team of officers as the new corporal. 

"Okay guys thank you so much! Now back to business" he said as the merriments died down. "There is gonna be a huge protest in Downtown L.A I want everyone to stay sharp. Any sudden movements should be dealt by force. Okay team let's go and serve!" He said with confidence.

Downtown 

"Okay team let's go!" He said. They all left the cyber wagon with cyber rifles, electric takers and the routine riot gear. The crowd was huge and the turn out was multitudinous. This was going to the biggest protest of the century. The DTR sect have been at the centre of it all. Having clandestine meetings in the dark plotting their next move.

"Kill all Robots, Kill all robots!" The protectors chanted on and on. One of the leaders known as Michael Rudolf, leader of DTR said this "For years we the people have suffered under the Elites! Now we take back what is rightfully ours! Death to the Elites" He said in a loud commanding voice.

"Alright team stay sharp, I don't want any riots going to the shops and looting. Whatever you do keep them from the shops!" He said over his cyber neural link. They all said 'copy'.

"How are we looking Rodriguez?" He asked his assistant Lieutenant. "We are all good!" said Rodriguez. As the protest was going on there was a sudden commotion and then a loud bomb last. Unfortunately Matt was in close proximity of the blast and the wave  threw him to the ground unconscious. As the rioters started looting everywhere....
