WE WANT CHILDREN

WE WANT CHILDREN

"We want children!" Cry the opposite gender. It is important to note that this topic is subjective and may or may not be relevant to the reader.

After a couple of doom scrolling videos I stumble upon the "pop the balloon challenge" Black American version and what I watched amused me so much so I had to write about it.

So there was this mid 30 year old guy looking for a soul mate and the contestants were all Beautiful Black American girls.

After a series of back and forth questions with them, a couple of them popped the balloon only remaining two gorgeous strong Black women.

One who was completely gorgeous, eloquent, tall just basically what the black guy intending on having as a girlfriend or soul mate. The lady popped the balloon.

She asked " Where do you see yourself in the next 2 years?" The guy said " Growing financially with expectations of getting a promotion...." said the guy but the sweet lady popped the balloon.

The moderator proceeded in asking why she popped. She said " I want to get married 2 years down the line." After saying this the other contestant didn't pop but liked the guy and she was ready to build with him rather than rushing into things like marriage.

My question is this: "Are ladies that desperate so as to want children snd a family that bad?" It's rhetoric but times have changed.

The age where you're in your mid 20's and early 30's and you have kids is a totally different dynamic from latter years. Now, marriage is a luxury not so many can afford.

We are left with so many youth being unmarried in this generation but a good chunk working on tying the knot soon.

As for me I would always keep an open mind. Life is too short to ask myself so many questions and debate with the universe. I mean what is the worst that could happen if you didn't seal the deal?
