THE MORNING ROUTINE

So this year I decided I will have a morning routine to break the monotony of just waking up having breakfast, shower and head to the office. Where there was no value added at all. Many a times I would skip breakfast and just have a morning rush.

Now this year I decided I would do things a little more differently. First, I would wake up one hour early or two, I would proceed to do some exercises which is great for keeping your mind alert.

I would meditate for 2 minutes to keep mindfulness and calmness. Meditation also helps with maintaining good relationships. 

After that I would end up having a great breakfast and making sure it is a healthy one so mixing fruits with peanuts and the occasional eggs for protein and making you feel full for a good number of hours during the day.

I would also write in my journal or even review it from yesterday to see if I had any other significant moments that I needed to be mindful of.

Then I would proceed to review my To do list. To maintain focus and be more vigilante on tasks that need to be completed and kill procrastination.

These kind of rituals are perfect for avoiding the morning rush. But the most important is drinking a full bottle of water, it not only replenishes you but gives you a fresh jump start.

A good morning routine can leave you feeling amazing throughout the day and make your day more meaningful.
