Have any of you know a friend who has been in a family business such that there is perpetual succession. They are showered on Trust fund on Trust fund completely sheltered under money where their off spring would never have to work again.

I definitely relate well relatively. Depending on the legal status of the person, employment criteria. But with no trust fund whatsoever just employees who hate the living shit out of this guy. Identities will remain secret.

He tells me he goes through hate, envy and unfairness because his Dad owns the company. But there is a twist its a partnership LLP meaning there is no perpetual succession.

And that he has no right to hold shares in the said company. He told me that he had an interview with his Dad the owner over dinner and surprise surprise he got the job.

So many wish to be in his shoes to never have to tarmac the streets, fall prey to scammers and obnoxious agents. He tells me that the hate is a small price to pay.

Most young people are struggling with unemployment he is grateful to have the job and he will do his very best to keep the job.

But he fears everyday going to this job that is not a guarantee in the next 5 to 10 years he fears his family will no longer be able to be his advocate.

That he wakes up in cold sweats fearing he will have to do what every other young person has done. To look for a job and start over. I advised him to take it a day at a time who knows the company might not be there even tomorrow in happenstance.

"To live is to risk and to die is comfort" I said to him."So get up and get going!" I added.
