INHERITANCE IN AFRICA
INHERITANCE IN AFRICA
Dividing what your parents or grandparents wealth to the current generation to be passed down to the younger generation. But that is not the case here in Africa.
You may find that in all we do as the young people in this country. You might find that there is no such thing as inheritance.
I once asked my father what he was living behind for his kids he stared at me and said nothing but education. I was shocked I thought he would say there is a shamba somewhere hidden in between his title deeds. But nothing came across.
Africans have so much value for education which isn't as bad I mean you can't sell your degrees or certificates. They hold no value to the other party apart from yourself.
The point he was trying to put across is that invest in yourself and that is where true value comes in. Once you invest in yourself you will be able to do things other people who were left with thousands of acres will ever do.
To think for yourself and make good career choices, tk slowly build wealth and make it your shield in life. Rather than getting a large amount of money that may be finished in a couple of months or years.
So Inheritance in Africa? There is none unless you come from the mega rich and affluent and are a trust fund baby.
We all have to put in work.
