I particularly love the story of how Jacob and his family members have this dynamic relationship with the native Americans of the said Colorado farm and how rich it's history really is.
Jacob now older is faced with enemies of the state and a complete power struggle of how they are going to save their farm from the Irish gypsies who constantly threaten their well being and family.
Here we find a more intense and in depth taste of the conflict between the two and how they relate to each other. Spencer Jacob's son is in Africa particularly Kenya working as a hunter called to protect the white settlers from dangerous animals such as lions, hippos and cheetahs. He left America after the second world war to find meaning but now his mother writes to him and discloses the farm is in danger of capture and turmoil.
At first Spencer being reluctant did not want anything to do with their family but now he has to be there to protect the ranch. He now fell in love with a British woman and now are in the great voyage back to America facing strife like for example a shipwreck in the middle of the river Nile and being hunted by the wildest of the wildest animals.
The Dutton Family has been in danger with adversaries from the capitalists who seek to turn Yellow Stone into a mining conglomerate. But Jacob Dutton stands tall and will not tolerate such. Even after being brutally injured by one of the Irish gypsies and losing his nephew along side other family members.
There has been instances where there are very cool action scenes of gun fights and sheer brutality. Now they have to defend their land for their life and for future generations.
Along side a Native American woman escapes the brutal school of Catholic sisters. Killing almost all the nuns who beat her to a pulp. I am yet to get the significance of this but it is even a more interesting story and adds weight to the series itself.
Season Two is out now and I can't wait to watch it. Again this is a slow burner and it will be sure to leave to at the edge of your seat.
