THE WILD WEST

Are you a fan of the old Western movies? By western I mean CowBoy movies/series filled with intense politics of blood spilled for land against the Native Americans.

Then you are gonna love the hit series by MTV and Paramount called Yellow Stone. Now Y.S has a couple of prequels such as 1883 and 1923 and others shooting currently.

This series is captivating and mesmerising (1883). Following the history of the Dutton Family is a huge Western epic created by Taylor Sheridan. That will leave you at the edge of the seat. And drooling for more.

*Spoilers Ahead*

At first, I personally haven't finished either of the three but what I can say so far is that it was a spectacular series(1883). The series is so well written it takes you back to the old western vibes with great cinematography and a greater script.

The series focuses on a dynamic of German community and gypsies coming to America for the first time to experience freedom.

This task was given Shea Bernan a struggling sheriff battling and mourning his loss of family due to a plague and James Dillard Dutton a war veteran who came back from the 2nd World War who is battling PTSD and managing a the Dutton Family who he loves and protects dearly especially his first born daughter Elsa Dutton.

The Dutton Family joins Shea Bernan in crossing the great and punitive lands of great America. As they help the German gypsies in search of new land and freedom.

Along the way they encounter alot of troubles including the Native Americans who were there before them. This raises conflict as the wonder across the American wilderness bringing a new dynamic relationship between old Western cowboys and the Red Indians.

Elsa falls in love with one of the Native American men who intends to marry her but soon departed ways only to come back together in end. This romantic relationship slide in perfectly with the conflict between the two groups of immigrants and the original land dwellers.

This series is a must watch if you loved Landman and the Original Yellow Stone. I highly recommend watching this series although it being a slow burner it is quite gratifying and worth the sauntering.
