There has been a surge in the youth opting to be single for their own personal interests and deciding to work and build on themselves.

When did these ever become a crime especially in the African culture? There has been a surmount amount of pressure by extended family to make the "sacred covenant".

But I stand strong in my position indifferent. For my own sake. It only takes one bad relationship break up to make you want to never think about commitment ever again.

To be fully focused in their craft and succeed immensely they have to give up the fallacy of marriage and become stoic in their daily routines.

Also the economy is playing a big role in this factors. Wages aren't being increased and inflation is at an all time high thus tread carefully and be segaciuos.

Having a great sense of self awareness is key in being in such an uncommon situation. Instead of looking for a partner look within and build yourself and morphing into someone you always wanted to become.

However, one must learn to live independently and without the influence of nay sayers and gossipers having such a strong, self esteem that small innuendos do not concern you.

Either being celibate or any other form that makes you reach your higher self is essential.

Remember it is your life. You get to choose how you lead it. It's a story and you're the author.
