REQUIME OF THE MERMAID

CHAPTER THREE

Bob was up early before twilight to prepare for the great departure. Racheal the scientist couldn't get enough sleep she had heard stories of the native land of cannibals and sacrifices who would do grate desecration for their Gods.

"Morning Racheal ye ready for the plight?" asked Bob.

Racheal looked at Bob surreptitiously and was caught in bewilderment at the apparent wooden leg he had on.

" I'm sorry Captain but may I ask what happened to your right leg?"

"No need to ye worries woman a shark accident that left me left leg in the belly of its great whitness" replied Bob

" And now I use my foot for a reminder to harpoon both whales and sharks at my behest" said Bob.

" I'm sorry Bob" said the scientist

" I said no need for ye worries child. Now get on my mothership"

Gerald the assistant showed up interrupting the two with large suitcases.

"Ye not bringing all that rubbish into my ship boy" said Bob.

" But they are our equipment-"

" I don't need luggage that is going to capsize my boat" retorted Bob.

"Dylan go find Johnny!" shouted Bob to the steward.
