BLACK TAX

What is black tax? You ask it is when our parents demand a reciprocating behaviour once they get older and you are fairly doing well in life.

The tax could be anything like having kids or giving them an equitable form on monetisation  for the years they sacrificed for you.

This is predominantly in African culture where we as young people have to sort of pay back a loan or kulipa deni to your parents. I for one think that it is a stupid and irrelevant concept of familial norm.

I say this because why should I pay for something if youre the one who decided to bring me into this world? I mean that with all care and love.

To me it doesn't make sense, did I ask to be born in this world? Did I sign a for this turmoil and hellish atmosphere?

No I did not so what you can do is leave me be. Expecting nothing from me and I expecting everything from you. I am your responsibility until you die.

Sad but true. 

We as millennials should not carry this inherited curse to our offspring. As for me I will work on my self until all appears satisfactory.

Then again marriage is a personal decision but I don't think so, it depends solely on you. I think many young people are forced into marriage. With or without there parents approval. Either by family or friends.

If one decides to focus on career he must not marry and he who marries knows this that one out ten are the chances you will find your soul mate.
