THE GUILLOTINE
THE GUILLOTINE
Humans have suffered a tremendous amount of tragic history over the dark ages from plagues to mental illness but nothing is as worse as the guillotine. Where criminals and people who acted atrociously had the fate of a warmonger. The public humiliation, the sheer savagery but it is unfortunate that such types of debaucheries still exist not at a larger level but more atomic level. This kind of viciousness exists today. By who you ask? Look around the more we evolve or be in this physical bodies tragedies happen, sickness happens, loss happens etc..
Men have endured depression, calamities and sicknesses. But for some, the battle is inside us. The internal battle we face. Someone once asked me. How many times have you tried suicide? I laughed and said I stopped counting after three. Yet I am still alive. I've endured traumas that have strengthened me and made me the man that I am. All things said and done depression is a killer and we all face through it at some point in time in life.
That is why being positive is very important in times of adversary. If your lucky there will be a light at the end of the tunnel. God will give you a sign. I'm not necessarily religious but I do believe in a Higher being be it the universe or the Big man upstairs. There have been several instance wheres I have fallen in the pits of darkness of depression.
The feeling of not wanting to wake up or an unhealthy amount of sleep. Slitting my wrists and making noose's while hiding from people, the list is endless. My point, let us not judge the sick, because it might happen to anyone. In the 1980's the term mental illness was prevalent. The ill were locked up in Asylums with harsh conditions and terrible conditions can you imagine your human rights being violated like that because something was wrong with you? It was not at our behest to get it!
Finally, let us love to treat each other with respect and understanding. Because who knows maybe in the multiverse that person could be you!
