Ever since I was a teenager there was always a gravitation towards superheroes a sort of escape so to speak. I chose Batman as my "alter ego" and I have stuck with the legend of the dark knight to do this day.

My comic book love story started with the new 52 run by DC comics I got to know Bruce Wayne on an intimate level, his struggles, his strengths and principles apart from the normal norm of theatrics and CGI. Now as I studied I crept into the minor characters from NightWing, Red hood and Tim Drake. As the years progressed I became dissatisfied longing for more, that's where I submerged into variant and dark horse comics with Sandman, Swamp thing and John Constantine. Magic has always fascinated me.

After my extensive reading I dived deep into the depths of Image comics that is where I discovered the beautiful dark twisted fantasies of the wicked + the divine and Saga.
This was a corner stone of my teenage years also preacher and watchmen. What an amazing comic book run I have been blessed with!

Fast forward to the intricates of Marvel now I must warn you spoiler's ahead....Marvel has the best and most detailed version, must admit its quite embarrassing being a DC fan X-men has been a childhood  center piece  especially the hit tv show animation X-men. That brings it to the X-men Red comics and oh boy!!! Am I blown away!!! The way the X-men world was built was monumental I got to read the best stories of Xavier's school of the gifted children. I was blown away!!!!!

I recommend the X-men Red.
