BEING STUCK

BEING STUCK

Have you ever felt stuck? Like your life isn't moving forward no matter what you do? This for me has been my situation for some years now. It could be a job that has been draining you constantly day by day or a relationship that has lost it's meaning. And this goes on day by day like a hole inside a boat in sea slowly drowning itself and the worst thing is you don't know where to start.

Maybe I should find new friends? Maybe I could take up a hobby? Or just finding the right person but nothing is changing. You lost your job you have no where to go? And years pass by and your still in the same position. You sought out religion, months pass by still no change you ask yourself what is happening? The zeal you once had or rather the progress you had been having once quickly fades away into an abyss.

So your stagnant and life is fading away like sand on a desert. With all this happening we are still getting older and older and as the years pass by your motivation reduces little by little until you become sort of nihilistic. All faith evaporates from your body and despair becomes your crutch. When you talk to numerous counsellors and psychologists but nothing seems to be working.

You start asking yourself if it's you who is the problem or if you're in some kind of trance. I'm not gonna tell you to man up and give you motivational bullshit. Because both of us know it doesn't work. Maybe your perspective in life should change, live in the moment decades from now nobody will know you and I ever existed.

All the pain and suffering will not matter decades from now. Look I know there is no consolidation in that and you're right. Living day by day in the same spot can be tiresome and make you lose it. I don't have an answer to this problem I have become simply a spectator in my own life. The willingness to change is there but you have no clue of how to get out of a funk.

Try reaching out to a friend, talk it out, express yourself, engage in meaningful conversations call home once in a while. Slowly and gradually you will get out of it.
